We trace the history of OUR FAMILY back to the early seventeenth century. Our unique family includes slaves, slave owners, farmers, laborers, artesans and great men and women of business. Our history is recorded in family bibles, ancient photographs, public records, other historical documents, and our hearts and minds. It has been passed down from generation to generation over camp fires and across kitchen tables.
Papa Grant and his ancestors were deeply devoted and dedicated to their God and their families. We, the descendants, endeavor to follow this path as we seek to preserve OUR FAMILY history, traditions and spirit for generations to come. |
